Saf Semi-dry® Red is a free-flowing frozen yeast, packaged in an easy to store and use pack, to bring the convenience and flexibility of frozen dough techniques to your kitchen. It is ideally suited for artisan bakers, hotels, restaurants and caterers, alike. It produces breads with that mouth-watering, just-baked aroma and a lighter coloured crumb. Saf Semi-dry® Red can be used directly from the freezer – no thawing required, guaranteeing easy storage and convenient freezing. The resealable, air-tight packaging reduces any contamination risk, maintaining the premium quality of the yeast over multiple uses. The packaging is also fully recyclable. The smaller pack size makes it easy to store and allows you to pour the required amount directly into the mixer.
Use Saf Semi-dry® frozen yeast as you would use fresh yeast, in reduced quantities. You can: • Blend it into dry flour or incorporate into dough during mixing.• If whole pack of yeast is not used, close and return the pack to the freezer. • Do not re-freeze yeast if thawed. Store at 2-6° C for maximum 3 days.
Saf Semi-dry® Red frozen yeast is specially adapted to frozen dough applications requiring long storage periods, and for recipes without sugar or <5% sugar.
