We are proud to announce the launch of recyclable packaging* for our baking improvers, mixes, premixes, and sourdoughs products in OCEA and Western Europe starting January 2025. This initiative empowers our partners, from craft bakers to industrial customers, to further their corporate social responsibility (CSR) goals.
“This transformation is not just a step forward for the planet, it is a major evolution for the baking sector,” declared Thomas Lesaffre, Baking Marketing Director at Lesaffre. “I am thrilled that Baking with Lesaffre provides support to our partners in the implementation of these advancements while the quality of our products remains the same. This new solution is a first step in giving our customers the opportunity to further their CSR initiatives.”
Driven by our Group’s mission of “Working together to better nourish and protect the planet” a dedicated working group collaborated across multiple sites to develop a solution that aligns with the expectations and constraints of a wide range of stakeholders, from purchasing to production.
Step by step, Baking with Lesaffre is committed to evolving all of its baking product packaging to be either ready for material separation or achieve at least 95% recyclability.
*This packaging has been designed to be recyclable. (Refer to your local recycling rules).
“By introducing these innovative packaging options, Baking with Lesaffre empowers its clients and partners to make more eco-friendly choices without compromising quality or performance. This initiative seamlessly aligns with our Bake for Good commitment, reaffirming our determination towards a sustainable baking sector.”
